Eugene T. Oseka, age 73, of Warsaw, Missouri, formerly of Papillion, Nebraska passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at his home. He was born on May 20, 1941 in Arcadia, Nebraska, the son of Thomas and Julia Oseka. He served in the U.S. Army as a medic and worked forty-two years for the Omaha Housing Authority Painters Union, retiring in 2002. He is preceded in death by his wife Jeri in 2001, two sisters Elaine Dresp and Louise Andrews and a niece, Julie Buesing. He is survived by his loving companion, Jacquelyn Godi of Warsaw, Missouri, two sisters Janice Hoffmann and her husband Donald of Iowa and Marcia Ansley and her husband George, of Texas, three nieces; Theresa Dresp, of Minnesota, Rita Gauthier and her husband Mike of Nebraska and Ellen Ham and her husband Tim, of Nebraska, several great nieces and nephews. He was a big Husker Fan who loved to make people laugh, go bowling, fish and travel. He was cared for dearly by his many friends and neighbors throughout Nebraska and Missouri. Forever in our hearts. Funeral Mass for Eugene T. Oseka will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, May 24, 2014 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Warsaw. Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Friday evening at the church with Vigil and Rosary to begin at 7:00 P.M. Graveside Services and Military Rites will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at Cavalry Cemetery in Omaha, Nebraska. Arrangements are under the direction of the Reser Funeral Home, of Warsaw, Missouri
