LENA MAE "LEN" PITTMAN MITCHON Lena Mae "Len" Pittman Mitchon, 73, of Victoria, Texas passed away Saturday October 14, 2006. She was born June 18, 1933 to the late Melvin and Alma Mae Pullin Pittman. She was a housewife. Lena is survived by her husband Robert Mitchon of Victoria; daughter Nancy Schmidt and husband Donnie of Victoria; son, Jeff Wilson and wife Julie of Victoria; step-daughter Trudy Tait of Deerwood and Peggy Schmidt and husband Phil of Victoria. One step-son Lanny Mitchon of Victoria; a sister Myrtle Ruth Huckman of Dayton and one brother Dan Pittman of Victoria. Also surviving are her grandchildren she loved so much Melisa Schmidt Barksdale, Michael Wilson, Michelle Wilson and Capt. Howie Schmidt, III. Two Great grandchildren Dakota and Kayleach. Step Grandchildren Brian Tait, Shasta Schmidt, Troy Schmidt and wife Skandy and Mandy Mitchon. One step Grandchild Tristyn. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother James Pittman. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 17, 2006 from 6 to 8 PM at Rosewood Funeral Chapels. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at 10 AM from First English Lutheran Church with Rev. Bill Hassel officiating. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brian Tait, Troy Schmidt, Michael Valenta, Jr., Michael Wilson, Donnie Schmidt and Trey Vonderau. Memorials may be made to the First English Lutheran Church.
