Her obituary in the Free Press Standard, Carrollton, Ohio, Thursday, September 1, 1921. Harriet Edith Oglevee, wife of Prosecuting Attorney J. C. Oglevee, died Monday after a couple years' illness. Funeral services were conducted in the family home on the Dellroy Road Wednesday afternoon by her pastor, Rev. K. J. Stewart of the Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Oglevee was a daughter of the late James Daniels, and was born 51 years ago. In 1889 she graduated from Carrollton High School, being the valedictorian of her class. She was married June 26, 1898, to Mr. Oglevee. Before her marriage she taught school several years. She was one of Carrollton's most cultured and refined women, having a remarkable literary talent and was a reader of the latest books. Surviving are Mr. Oglevee, a son, Daniel, a daughter, Doris, her mother and two sisters.
