Morgan From the Fort Worth Star-Telegram , Sunday, May 14, 1995: Katie Lee Hedge, 87, a retired Monnig's Department Store personnel manager, died Friday in Stephenville. Graveside service: 11 a.m. Monday in Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. today at Greenwood Funeral Home. Mrs. Hedge was born in Ellis County, lived in Stephenville for four years and was a former longtime Fort Worth resident. She was a member of Arlington Heights United Methodist Church. She was also a member of The Woman's Club of Fort Worth, North Fort Worth Woman's Club, Fort Worth Elks Club and was past president of the Wesleyan Guild. Her husband, Elmer R. Hedge Sr., died in 1973. Survivors: Stepson, Elmer R. Hedge Jr. of Stephenville; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
