Bio
Mary E. Funk, the wife of a retired Lodi area farmer, died in a local hospital Tuesday afternoon following a short illness. She was 75. Mrs. Funk, late of 423 Louie Ave., was born near Taylor, Tex. In 1920 she was married to Gust Funk of American Falls, Ida. While living in that area, the Funks farmed until 1941 when they moved to Lodi. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Funk is survived by a son, Ewald Funk of Athena, Ore.; a daughter, Mrs. Hilda Bauman of Lodi; and seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
