FORT WORTH - Marion S. "Hambone" Hamilton, 72, a retired welder and steel fabricator, died Saturday, May 6, 2000, at a local medical center. Graveside service: 1 p.m. Tuesday at Azleland Memorial Park. Marion Hamilton was born Feb. 4, 1928, in Jasper County, Ark. He was an Army and Navy veteran, wounded in action during the Korean conflict. He was an area resident since 1952, working 18 years for Worth Manufacturing Company in shipping and receiving, and 16 years for Hobbs Trailers as a welder and metal fabricator. Survivors: Wife, June Christian Hamilton; daughter, LaVenda Hamilton; son, Kirby Joe Hamilton; stepson, Jack Lewing; stepdaughters, Sundra Nuget, Glenda Gehring, Evelyn Seay, Peggy Nalpa, Nancy Dowdy; brother, Bill Hamilton; 24 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
