Bio

A Texas Death Index was located on Family Search.org, but the actual certificate was not available. "Mary Strange Texas, Deaths, 1890-1976 birth: 29 June 1847 , Tennessee death: 31 October 1911 Jayton, Kent, Texas, United States father: Cameron" It is assumed she was brought back to Stamford for burial next to her husband who died in 1908. A copy of the death certificate was located. She died at the home of J M Strange. She was widowed and had lived in Texas 30 years and 1 month at the place of death. The place of burial was not filled out.
