James Jackson Howell was the son Silas Major Howell (1836-1907) and Margaret Elizabeth Frederick (1839-1918). He married Mellsena C "Senie" Lann, in 1880. Mellsena C was born Jan 7, 1865 in Alabama; she died March 27, 1944 in Franklin County, Alabama.
