Bio
Doris La Verne Mynar was born in Houston, Texas on July 30, 1929 where she spent most of her adult life. She is preceded in death by her parents; James Albert Garner and Artie Mae Garner, her sister; Helen Marie Garner and her husband; Robert. R. Mynar. Surviving relatives are daughter; Barbara Carr Bailey (Gaither E.) of Georgetown, Kentucky, grandchildren; Christopher E. Carr (Tori), Richard Thomas Bailey (Alyssa), Jonathan Robert Bailey (Chrissy), Andrew Peter Bailey (Briana), and Jennifer Tunink (Seth), 8 great grandchildren; including Tyler Stephen Carr of Prosper, Texas. Doris was a member of Georgetown First Presbyterian Church. In recent years she was recognized for her work through the Georgetown Scott County Senior Activity Center and the Senior Companion Program sponsored by the Blue Grass Community Action Partnership. Doris will be interred next to her husband in Texas at a later date. Friends may call at the home of Barbara and Gaither Bailey between the hours of 2 and 4, Saturday, April 5, 2014.
