Bio
Daughter of Bert John & Susan (Gibbs) Preston. She graduated from Kramer High School in 1926 and attended Hastings College. Priscilla went to work for Harold Kramer at Loup Public Power as his legal secretary. She married Paul E. Scharff on September 9, 1940 at St. Bonaventure Church in Columbus. Following their marriage the couple then lived and farmed northwest of Columbus. Priscilla was a devoted wife and mother. She was a member of St. Isidore Church, Christian Mothers, Church Choir, Church Women United, Omaha Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women, Charter Member of the Oak Leaf Extension Club and a Life Member of the Platte County Historical Society. She is survived by: Son: David (Wanda) Scharff of Columbus, NE Son: John (Karen) Scharff of Shelton, NE Son: Paul (Mary Ok Chu) Scharff, Jr. of Columbus, NE Sister-in-law: Gladys Preston of Portland, OR Four Grandchildren and Six Great Grandchildren She was preceded by: Husband: Paul E.
