Meta M. "Tootie" Huss, 94 September 22, 1919 ~ January 30, 2014 Meta Huss passed away on January 30, 2014 in Albuquerque, NE, where she resided for the past 20 years. She was born on September 22, 1919 in Fort Calhoun, Nebraska. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Minna Klabunde; daughter, Sharon McManus; husband, Herman Huss; brothers: Richard, Ed, Ray, Ernie, Art and Les Klabunde; sisters: Esther Bolte, Irene Lucas, and Helen Peterson. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: J. Robert Gaines (Judith), and Roger J. Swanson (Jonay); grandchildren: Jill R. Gaines, Jerold R. Gaines, Jeni Ahern, Lindsay Edman (Matt), and Sandy Swanson; great-grandchildren: Zoe E. Gaines, Patchouly R. Gaines, Landon Ahern, Chase Ahern, and Ashlyn Edman; 1 sister, Betty Beardsley; numerous nieces and nephews in the Omaha area.
