Bio

She was born on her grandparent's farm in Seaton, Texas to Ella Othelia Hruska Janicek and Ed Janicek. She was a graduate of Rogers High School in 1946. Shortly thereafter, she moved to Houston where she was employed by the City of Houston for several years. In 1948, she met the love of her life and on January 14, 1950, she wed William J. Talbot. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, William Joseph Talbot; sister, Helen Jane Haisler and husband Raymond John of Houston; brother, Edwin Janicek and wife Joann of Temple, Texas; daughter, Charlotte Dahm and husband Lawrence of Harlingen, Texas; grandchildren, Andrew Dahm and wife Jana of San Antonio, Texas; Christopher Dahm and wife Bonny of Houston, Texas, and Theresa Dahm of Harlingen, Texas; and two lovely great grandchildren, Andrew Dahm, Jr. and Michael Dahm both of San Antonio, Texas.
