Eugene "Gene" Neales Puckett, 85, of Farmington passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2014 in Fayetteville. He was born December 11, 1928 in Brentwood, AR. to Clayton and Stella Canfield Puckett. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served during WWII. Gene liked a good joke and had a good sense of humor. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Berdie Mae Puckett. Survivors include nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at Beard's Chapel with Pastor Larry Smith officiating. Burial will be in Black Oak Cemetery in Winslow under the direction of Beard's Chapel.
