Son of Franklin and Lillie LaFon Wheeler. His first marriage was to Miss Marie Goodman on 7 Jan 1925 in Altus, Jackson County, Oklahoma. He was a construction plumber and was a member of Plumbers Local No. 7. Survivors: Wife, Mrs. Lucille Wheeler of Houston; one son, one sister and two brothers.
