Obit. Temple Daily Telegram, Temple Bell Co., TX 15 Jan 1991. Robert Blackburn, Jr. Hurst-Sevices for Robert G. Blackburn Jr., 62 of Denver Colo., and formerly of Troy will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst with the Rev. Joe McAfee officiating. He died at his home on Jan. 1. The body was cremated. Mr Blackburn grew up in Troy and graduated from Troy High School. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Sr. and Viola Blackburn and a brother Aubrey Blackburn. Survivors are a daughter, Tina; three sons, Mark, Steve, Russell Blackburn; two sisters, Ruth Filippone of Flower Mound and Beverly Hinze of Grapevine; a brother, George Blackburn of San Diego, Calif; and 13 grandchildren.
