Martin J. "Joe" Caffrey, 73, of Lincoln died Sunday, April 23, 2000, in Lincoln. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Brewer Korisko Chapel in Omaha, followed by 10:30 a.m. services at Sts. Peter and Paul Church. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Ravenna Cemetery. Survivors include two daughters, Christine Frohman of Morrill and Mary Jo Caffrey of Omaha; three sons, Martin of Lincoln, Patrick of Brighton, Colo., and Thomas of Omaha; 11 grandchildren; two brothers, Steve and Jim Caffrey; four sisters, Rose Victor, Eileen Atherton, Catherine Caffrey and Pat Lambertus; and a special friend, Victoria Breidenstine. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Lenore Hervert; two brothers, David and Robert; and a sister, Blanche Murphy. The Grand Island Independent, April 26, 2000
