Note: This article misspells Luksa as Luska. "Paul Luska, 59, pioneer citizen of the Buckholts community died at 5:30 o'clock Tuesday, September 24, 1929 at his home there following several weeks of illness. Paul Luska was a native of Europe but had lived in America and in Milam county for a number of years, loving his adopted country and giving of his time and talents to the progress of his community and assisting in every way possible his fellowmen. Services were held at 2 p. m. Friday, September 25, 1929 in the Hope Lutheran church at Buckholts with Rev. Horak, pastor conducting the funeral rites. The Green Brothers undertaking company was in charge of funeral arrangements. He is survived by his widow and 7 children as follows all of whom were present for the funeral: Mrs. Francis Luska, widow; W. F. Luska, Temple; Walter Luska, Omaha, Nebraska; Mrs. Bennie Hundle, Fort Worth; Mrs. Ella Praslicka, Fort Worth; H. L. Luska, Buckholts; Mrs. Stanley Svetlik, Buckholts; Miss Minnie Luska, Buckholts; Miss Gardine Luska, Buckholts. Mr. Luska was a member of the S. P. J. S. T. Lodge of Buckholts, the members of which were pallbearers at the funeral. The body of the pioneer was buried in the Corinth cemetery." The Cameron Herald September 26, 1929 Pg 6 .
