Son of Josef & Marie (Jambor) Rejda. Married to Anna Henrietta Raburch on 3-5-1935 at Omaha, NE. In 1969, he wrote a history of the Jungman Hall Lodge and the community surrounding it. It was printed in the Ord Quiz on Oct. 16, 1969, and again on June 28, 1973. After retiring, he wrote his family's history in the late 1970s. --------------------- Thanks to contributor #47226369 James Rejda BURWELL — James Vaclav Rejda, 97, of Burwell died Wednesday, April 12, 2000, at the Sargent Nursing Center. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church in Burwell. The Rev. Michael Laing will officiate. Burial will be in the Ord City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Eberle-Hitchcock Funeral Home in Burwell. Memorials are suggested to the church. Mr. Rejda was born to Josef and Marie (Jambor) Rejda. He attended school through the eighth grade, then farmed and ranched. He married Anna Henrietta Raburck on March 5, 1935, at Omaha. In 1969, he wrote a history of the Jungman Hall Lodge and the community surrounding it. It was printed in the Ord Quiz on Oct. 16, 1969, and again on June 28, 1973. After retiring, he wrote his family's history in the late 1970s. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling. He was president of the Jungman Hall Lodge for 48 years until the hall dissolved in the 1970s. Survivors include a son, Don of Burwell; a daughter, Dahli Rejda of Carmel, Calif.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, five sisters and five brothers
