Bio

Graveside services are scheduled at 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 28, at Twin Oaks Memorial Park for Eva V. Evans of Midland, Texas. Mrs. Evans, 91, died Wednesday, April 23, 2014 in Ruidoso, New Mexico. Bobby Argo will officiate at the services. Eva was born October 13, 1922 in Broken Bow, Oklahoma; the daughter of Robert Lee Graham and Effie (Gholson) Graham. She came to Lakewood, N.M. in 1929 from Oklahoma then moved to Artesia a few years later. On November 23, 1942 she was married to Jerry Evans in Carlsbad, N.M. He preceded her in death October 5, 2007. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a son Ronald Evans in 1962. She was a Owner/Operator of a few hair salons and fixed hair for over 40 years. Eva was also a member of Trinity Temple.
