SANDY - M. Eldon Barnes, 92, passed away May 22, 1995. Born March 14, 1903 in Lehi, Utah to George and Violet Colledge Barnes. Married Gladys Manzer in Lehi, Utah on December 18, 1926. Eldon was a member of the LDS Church. For many years he owned and operated Barnes Grocery and was part owner of FER-MOR Cabinet. An avid nature and horse lover, he cared greatly for children of all ages. He loved his family as he loved life--with all his heart. Survivors: wife, Gladys; daughters, Rosalyn Mumford and husband, Ferris, Sandy; Carmen Lindquist and husband, Ray, Dubois, Wyoming; grandchildren, Michele Myers, Teresa Ellis, Kim Lindquist and Wendy Lindquist; 10 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by a grandson, Caray Lindquist. Funeral Saturday, May 27, 1995 at 11:00 a.m. in the Goff Mortuary Chapel, 8090 So. State, where friends may call Saturday from 9:30-10:45 a.m. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens. Published 25 May 1995 in The Salt Lake Tribune (UT)
