George Clark, 66, 1205 Rolling Meadow, died Sunday, August 22, 1999 at Mary Greely Medical Center in Ames. Services are tentatively set for Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Visiting hours will be from 5-9 p.m. Monday at Pursel-Davis Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. A memorial fund has been established. He was born December 17, 1932, in Harrisburg, Illinois to Marion and Alberta Clark. He married Tommye Ann Kinder on May 18, 1953 at Carlsbad, New Mexico and served in the U.S. Navy for 20 years. Following his discharge, he began a 17-year career with the Chicago & Northwestern Railroad. He is survived by his wife Tommye of Marshalltown; two sons, Roger (Rey) of Oakdale, California and Larry (Carol) of Raleigh, North Carolina; a daughter Kimberly (Charles) Parent-Quinn of Albion; a brother, Robert (Arlene) of Harrisburg, Illinois; a sister, Vera Grathler of Florida; and four grandchildren.
