Bio

Linda Morrow Brink lost her incredibly hard fought battle with cancer on September 13, 2011. Linda was born the daughter of Frank "Doc" Morrow and Lillian Morrow on March 3, 1949. She was born and grew up in Omaha, Nebraska. She graduated from Archbishop Ryan High School and attended St. Catherine's School of Nursing in Omaha. It was there that she began her lifelong passion of nursing and went on to meet the love of her life, her husband Jim. They were married on January 9, 1971. They began a family and moved to North Platte, Nebraska. They laughed, they lived, and they laid the foundation for a strong and close family. They moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1984. Linda was one of a group of nurses hired to help open Scottsdale Memorial Hospital on Shea. She worked at night and raised her family during the day. She touched an innumerable amount of lives during her 25 years at Shea and together with Jim raised three amazing children. She will be missed daily by so many! She is preceded in death by her mother and her father. She is survived by her husband Jim, and her three children; her daughter Amy Arndt and her husband Clint, Dr. Jeffrey Brink and his wife Christi, and Dr. Jeromy Brink and his wife Tammy, also her sister Betty McLaughlin and her husband Ed. She is loved dearly by her grandchildren Alex, Kate, Ryan and Lucy, and will never be forgotten! Visitation will be held from 5-8PM, with rosary at 7PM, Friday, September 16, 2011, Hansen Desert Hills Chapel, 6500 E. Bell Rd., Scottsdale. Funeral Mass will be held at 1:30PM, Saturday, September 17, 2011, Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 11300 N. 64th St. Scottsdale.
