Jessie Ellinor Morris, 85 years of age, of Beatrice, Nebraska died at the Beatrice Good Samaritan Center on Friday morning, February 11, 2005. She was born on April 14, 1919 at Wymore, Nebraska and was also baptized in Wymore. She graduated from Wymore High School in 1937. She was married to Victor Gade at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Wymore, Nebraska in 1939 and were divorced. She then married Robert D. Morris on January 7, 1947 and they later divorced. She lived in the Regional Center in Lincoln for many years before moving to the Beatrice Good Samaritan Center where she had lived for the last 30 years. She enjoyed doing embroidery work. Survivors include one daughter, Janet Morris of Toluca Lake, California. One grandson, Jon W. Tucker of Lincoln, Nebraska. Several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Loren A. and Pearl I. Berg Hillhouse, one son Theodore Gade, two brothers Clifton and Duayne Hillhouse and one sister Mary Pauline Chapman. Memorial services will be held on Monday, February 14, 2005 at 10:00 A.M. in conjunction with the February Memorial Services at the Beatrice Good Samaritan Center with Pastor Richard Fruehling officiating. Inurnment will be held in the Wymore Cemetery of Wymore, Nebraska. A memorial has been established to the Beatrice Good Samaritan Center with the Fox Funeral Home in charge.
