DUMAS - Geraldean "Jerry" Woody, 82, died Saturday, Dec. 24, 2005, in Amarillo. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Eddie Tubbs, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Northlawn Memorial Gardens by Morrison Funeral Directors. Mrs. Woody was born Jan. 30, 1923, in Throckmorton County. She had been a Dumas resident since 1940. She married Bailey Woody on April 9, 1943, in Graham. She was a Realtor for Windmill Realty for several years. She was a longtime member of the Happy Hatters and Red Hat Society. She was a longtime volunteer for the Window on the Plains Museum. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband; a son, Jim Woody and wife, Sally, of Houston; a daughter, Tricia Anderson and husband, Andy, of Lubbock; seven grandchildren, Kelli, Julie, Trey, Jay, Kurt, Kyle and Greg; and five great-grandchildren, Justin, Reba, D.J., Paula and Britton.
