Linda Sue Wiseman McCown, age 70, of Portland, passed away February 27, 2009. She is a retired Wilson County School Teacher. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. McCown; and mother, Adaline Wiseman. She is survived by father, Lewis S. (Christel) Wiseman of Portland; sister, Betty Wiseman of Brentwood; cousin, Janice (Powell) Harrell of Portland; nephews, Pat (Donna) Harrell of White House, Andy (Vickey) Harrell of Hendersonville; neice, Dena (John) Wallwork of Hendersonville; great neices and nephews, Megan and Savannah Burnley, David and Sara Harrell, Samantha Harrell; stepbrothers, Brian and Bruce Graves; stepsister; Kristen Nelson; care givers, Dean Rogers, Tina Baker, Teresa Fisher, Shirley Davenport; and numerous friends. Visitation is 12 p.m., until 8 p.m., Sunday, March 1, 2009. Funeral service is 11 a.m., Monday, March 2, 2009, at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home with Bro. Delton Porter officiating. Interment is at Cedar Grove Cemetery. She is a graduate of Belmont University and MTSU. ∼ Linda Sue WISEMAN McCOWN, 70, of Portland died on Friday, Feb. 27, 2009. The Portland native was the daughter of Lewis S. Wiseman and the late Adaline Wiseman. She was a graduate of Belmont University and MTSU. She was a retired teacher from Wilson County Schools and formerly taught at Portland High School as business teacher. In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. McCown.
