Conner C. Loftin was born on November 26th, 1907 in Burkeville, TX. He passed away Saturday May 12th in his home in Phoenix. He grew up in Louisiana on the Sabine River. Conner headed West right after high school. He met his wife Pearl on an elevator in Phoenix in 1931 and they married in Seattle. Soon after the birth of their son Charles, they moved from the Northwest to Phoenix. In 1950 Conner started Loftin Business Forms in the Valley, a printing company that he ran until his son Chuck joined in business with him in 1952. Conner and Pearl lived in the North Central area and have traveled the world together. Conner loved to golf and boat with his family and friends. Their lives have been bountiful with Conner's business skills and Pearl's famous home cooking. However, he was most proud of his family and their travels together. If you knew Conner he'd tell you, "We have a fine family relationship." Conner and Pearl were married for over 75 years until his recent passing. Published in The Arizona Republic on May 15, 2007
