Lyman, Utah - Phillip Burnham McGee, age 74, died April 10, 2014 at his home in Lyman. He was born May 8, 1939 in Pleasant Grove, a son of Harvey Leo and Matilda Burnham McGee. He attended Pleasant Grove Schools. Phillip married Hazel Delores Zufelt, August 3, 1966 in Elko, Nevada. Phil and Dody moved to Lyman 30 years ago and have loved every minute of it. He was a Volunteer at the local food bank. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, shed hunting, camping, riding his 4-wheelers, hiking and being with his family. He will be missed. Phil is survived by his wife of Lyman; children: Phillip R. and Wendy McGee, Darinda Lyn Mecham, all of Richfield; Brenda Brinkerhoff of Tooele; 11 grandchildren; brothers and sister: Jesse and DeAnna McGee of Spanish Fork; Joe & LaDawn McGee of Orem; Carol and Shirl Ferre of West Jordan; Ken and Carol McGee of Goshen. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Matilda McGee; two sons: Lander McGee and Dustin McGee; two brothers and one sister: Lavar McGee, Eugene McGee and Naomi McGee. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. in the Lyman LDS Ward Chapel, where friends may visit with the family from 11:00 to 12:30 prior to the services. Burial will be on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
