Mrs. Lavina Thorne Broonihood, 57, wife of Alfred J. Broomhead of Murray, died in a local hospital Friday. She was born November 7, 1871, at Pleasant Grove, Utah. Surviving are her husband and the following children: Raymond A., Harold J., Spencer D., Howard W., Roland T. and Viola Broomhead, of Murray; Mrs. Cllepe Larson, Kemmerer, Wyo., and Mrs. Edna Willls, Sandy Two brothers, Fred F. Thorne, Lehi, and Elvin T. Thorne, Pleasant Grove, and six grandchildren, also survive. Salt Lake Tribune, February 9, 1929
