Alice Shannon Miller Drane, age 73, of Blue Ridge, GA, died February 4, 2007. Daughter of Duncan Winston and Essie Edward (Cowan) Miller. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Hovie C. Drane, Sr. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Clinton and Vicki Drane, Ellijay, GA; Walt and Christy Drane, Gainesville, FL; Dan and Melissa Drane, Seattle, WA; 9 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews; sister, Alma Porter, Winston Salem, NC; and a brother, Clyde Miller, Portsmouth, VA. A graveside service will be held 2 PM, Saturday, Feb 10, 2007 at Fairview Memorial Gardens, Stockbridge, GA; Frank Cox officiating.
