JANICE JAMES Janice James, 92, of Sargent died Sunday, March 12, at the Jennie M. Melham Memorial Medical Center in Broken Bow. Mrs. James was cremated and there will be a private graveside service and interment at a later date at the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Sargent. Janice was bom April 9, 1907, in Unadilla, Nebraska, to Forrest J and Bertha L. (Yeigh) Abbott. She attended school in Sargent, graduating from high school in 1926. She spent two years at the University of Nebraska and taught school for three years. She was married June 13, 1932, to David E. James. They made their home in Sargent for many years. She was a member of the Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her son, Richard of Issiauah, Washington, daughter Judy Gruber of Sargent, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren and one sister, Margaret Abbot of Sargent.
