Bio

Anna Butts "the daughter of Martin and Emily (Petersen) Hansen was born Oct. 17, 1909, near Foster. She grew up near Stark Valley and attended rural schools. She married Lloyd Butts in 1926 at Start Valley United Methodist Church. The couple farmed before moving to Plainview. They moved to Neligh in 1948, where they owned Lloyd's Cafe for many years. She was also employed by Wanek's Drug Store for two years and at Oetter's Jewelry Store for 28 years." She was survived by 1 son and his wife, 1 grandchild, and 2 great-grandchildren.
