Services for Alfred Roy Hejl, 61, of Temple will be 10 a.m. Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Seaton Brethren Church in Seaton, Texas with the Rev. Denise Mikeska officiating. Burial will follow at Seaton National Cemetery. Mr. Hejl died Monday, March 31, 2014 at his home in Temple. He was born November 5, 1952, in Temple to Alfred Hejl and Ella Chupik Hejl. He was a farmer and lived in the Temple area all of his life. He was a member of Seaton Brethren Church. Mr. Hejl was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Ella Hejl. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Ann Schiller Hejl of Temple; his son, David Hejl of Temple; his daughter, Sarah Maupin of Wylie; a sister, Norma Sebesta of San Antonio; and a granddaughter, Kayley Hejl. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 4, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple. The family suggests that memorial donations in Alfred's name be made to Seaton Brethren Church, 12561 State Highway 53, Temple Texas 76501.
