KINGSVILLE, TEXAS - Rosalie Francis Freberg passed away on March 8, 1999 in Sugar Land, Texas at the age of 85. She was born on July 12, 1913 in Lott, Texas. She graduated from Our Lady of the Lake College, San Antonio, and Providence School of Nursing, Waco where she served as class president and Valedictorian of her class. She was Supervisor of Nursing at Kleberg County Hospital, Kingsville, Kleberg County Health Supervisor, and Director of Health Services at Texas A&M University-Kingsville. She was a Registered Nurse for 45 years. She had been a resident of Kingsville for 61 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of thirty-three years, Albert John Freberg, a son that died at birth, two brothers, Florence Hoelscher and Clarence Hoelscher, and two sisters, Regina Hoelscher and Sophie Hoelscher. Survivors include her son, Albert John (Patricia) Freberg, Jr. of Needville, a sister, Nora Voltin of Midland, sisters-in-laws, Edythe Hoelscher of Houston, Helen Hoelscher of Rosebud, and Georgia Mae Freberg of Friendswood, two grandsons, Michael and Cameron Freberg, and numerous nieces and nephews. Burial will follow mass in Chamberlain Cemetery.
