His Obit appeared in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram on Monday, March 1, 2010. It reported that "Melvin Ray Legg, 83, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2010." "He was a beloved son, father, brother and grandfather. Melvin was honorably discharged from the Army at the rank of sergeant, was an accountant, a real estate agent and loved to bake. Melvin was a graduate of American Institute of Baking and Kimball Real Estate School. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Bessie Legg, and daughters, Laura McRoy and Sandra Scott of Fort Worth." Survivors: 2 daughters; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
