Obituary: Lavina Baldwin DeFraine was born Dec 12, 1843, in Gentry County, Missouri; departed this life March 8, 1925, at her home in Fallis, Okla., aged 81 years, 2 months and 26 days. She was united in holy matrimony to S.W. Leverich in January, 1864. To this happy union were born four children, three of whom survive: Mrs. Manerva Hopkins, Albany, Mo.; Mrs. Sarah Murphy, Fallis, Okla., Mrs. Meribe Taylor, Cushing, Okla. Ben Leverich, the oldest of the children, preceded his mother in death on Nov. 2, 1907. S.W. Leverich, her good mate, departed this life, Nov. 10, 1892, aged 81 years, 2 months and 29 days. Mrs. Leverich went to Oklahoma in October, 1902. Two years later, in November, Thanksgiving Day - 1904, she was united in holy wedlock to Joseph DeFraine and they have made their peaceful home in the vicinity of Fallis. Note: Spelling and dates on headstone differ from obituary. Correct spelling should be Leverich not Levrich. Also the birth date is questionable - Aged 81 at time of death would make birth year as 1843 as the obituary states, not 1834.
