Bio

A. Paul Trull, 92, of Waxahachie, passed away Friday, March 28, 2014, in Waxahachie. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, March 31, 2014, at Wayne Boze Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, April 1, 2014, in Milford Cemetery, with Dr. Jerry Lemon and Jay Trull officiating. Alfred Paul was born in Milford, Texas, to the late Lonnie and Annie Laura Trull. Paul was raised on a farm in Milford until joining the United States Army. He was a master home builder in his younger years; building more than 100 homes in the Indian Hills, College Hills and the Chapman additions in Waxahachie. He also served as president of the Homebuilders Association. One of Paul's favorite past times was hunting and fishing. He has several trophies and even holds a world record. Reflecting back over the years, Paul always said, "The Lord has been good to me." The one thing he was most proud of was having the opportunity and pleasure of spending 71 years with Dorothy Helen Moon Trull, having married her in 1943. Paul is survived by his beloved Helen; son, Jim Trull and his wife, Becky; daughters: Dorothy and her husband, Joe, Brenda and her husband, C.P., Joan Trull, Kay and her husband, Larry, and Paula and her husband, Greg; seven grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren; sister, Elizabeth; many other relatives and friends.
