My dad told me that every once in a while his uncle Art would just show up out of the blue with no warnig! He would drive hundreds of miles from Oaklahoma to Colorado only going about 40 miles per hour in an old car just to visit. (that's so sweet) My dad said that Art was quit a charactor. Arthur liked to hunt. Per Anna Q Phillips Dobrinski (Art's daughter in-law) - We all loved him, he lived with us for about 5 months in the 1950's. But when he was not living with us, he sometimes would just show up on the bus and stay for a few days and then we would have to take him back home. He was quite a charactor she says. He smoked big Cigars, and liked beer a lot.
