Bio
Joyce Marcella Lewis, 83, of Slater, Texas, died Thursday, March 27, 2014. Services will be at 3 p.m., Sunday, March 30, at Pearl Baptist Church in Pearl, Texas. Burial will follow in Slater Cemetery. Visitation will be an hour prior to the service at the church. Joyce was born in Rhome, Texas, to the late Steve Archly Burk and Lalla Alla Judge Burk. She was a longtime member of Pearl Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Jack L. Lewis; son, Bobby Jack Lewis; and eight brothers and sisters.
