LeRoy Gates, 72, of Rte. 4, Neosho, who has been a patient in the Smith Rest Home west of Neosho, died there at 11 o'clock yesterday morning. He was born in Iowa but came here about 22 years ago. He was a retired farmer. He is survived by three step-daughters, Mrs. Helen Cross and Mrs. John Noble of Des Moines, and Mrs. E.A. Burger of Adel, Iowa, a brother, Clem of Adel, and a sister, Mrs. Bessie Elliott of Waukee, Iowa. The body, received by the Clark-Bigham Funeral Home, left Neosho by rail this afternoon for Dallas Center, Iowa, for funeral services and burial. The Neosho Daily News Neosho, Missouri
