Bio

Son of Harold & Marvel (Shipman) Smith. Married to Jean Veleba on 7-3-1947. He ran an auto repair business in Ord and retired in the 1970s. He then worked as a rural mail carrier in the 1980s. Mr. Smith was a firefighter with the Ord Volunteer Fire Department for many years. He was a member of the Ord Elks Lodge and the Ord Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was an avid golfer, playing in many tournaments across Nebraska. WW II Veteran - US Navy
