MUNDAY -- Sue Bowden, 90, died Monday, December 12, 2005 in Wolforth Nursing Center in Wolforth, Texas. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 16, 2005 at the Munday First United Methodist Church with Dr. Ruth Fowler officiating, assisted by Charles Baker & W.O. Smith. Burial will be in Johnson Memorial Cemetery in Munday, Texas under the direction of McCauley-Smith Funeral Home in Munday, Texas. Mrs. Bowden was born September 15, 1915 in Goree, Texas. She lived in the community since 1933. She married Levi A. Bowden September 3, 1933 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Mr. Bowden died March 19, 1988. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Christopher Bowden, in 1994; he was an airborne ranger in the Army. Survivors: Two sons: Lee A. Bowden of Lubbock, Texas & Gerald Bowden of Indianapolis, Indiana; Two sisters: Charlotte Lloyd of Houston, Texas & Bernice Covey of Weatherford, Texas; One Grandson: Kerry Bowden of McKinney, Texas; Two Granddaughters: LeAnn Bowden of Dallas, Texas & Elizabeth Rogers of Indianapolis, Indiana. Visitation will be at the funeral home Thursday, 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. for family and friends.
