Funeral services for Mary Jo Moody, age 83, of Forney, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home, Tyler, with Bro. Bruce Miller officiating. Burial will be in Tyler Memorial Park. Mrs. Moody was born on Nov. 8, 1930, in Grice to Marion Francis and Ethel Annie Burnett Harrison and passed away on Feb. 21, 2014, in Forney. Formerly of Tyler, Mrs. Moody had lived in Dallas since 1998. She was a member of Sharon Baptist Church in Arp. Mrs. Moody is survived by her son, Gary Moody and wife Debbie, of Aubrey; daughter, Janet Woodlee and husband Scott, of Mesquite; grandchildren, Scott Moody, Missy Richards, Crystal Brown and Samantha Woodlee; great-grandchildren, Tristan Moody, Kaitlyn Moody, Kya Salas, Coalton Brown, River Brown, Grayson Richards and Rylee Richards; sister, Marcelle Southerland, of Midland; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dois Moody; and brothers, Hershal Harrison and Geraldine Harrison. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
