Feb 23, 1911 Mrs Mary McCarty died at her daughters Mrs H. Kirkbride in Bushnell, last Tues afternoon. The interment in Vermont cemetery. Mary Mullen was born in Galway, Ireland in 1832 and came to this county and to New York where she married Patrick McCarty. Nine children were born to this union, Three living Mrs Kirkbride of this city, James McCarty and Charles McCarty of Sherard. She had lived in this county for 65 years and lived in New York, Memphis,Tenn, Peoria and Vermont,IL
