Obituary: Goodman, Ada Louise Born: 1952 in Durant, Bryan County, Oklahoma, USA Died: 15 Mar 2014 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma County, Oklahoma, USA Oklahoma City resident Ada Louise Goodman passed away Saturday, March 15, 2014 at the age of 62 in Oklahoma City due to complications from diabetes. Ada, a native of Durant, Oklahoma, was educated in the Durant public school system and was graduated from Texas Women's University with a degree in textiles. Ada began her working career at Oshmans Sporting Goods in Houston, Texas and later worked for America On Line in Oklahoma City. Most recently she was employed with the Oklahoma City Public School System retiring in December 2013. She enjoyed working with the children of the school system. Ada served many years as a loving caregiver for her aunt, Ann Novotny, deceased. She had one brother, John Arthur Goodman, who lives in Baltimore, Maryland. Her parents, Mildred and Paul Goodman are both deceased. Ada Goodman was a member of the Methodist faith.
