Bio
Mrs. Dorothy Nebraska Cooper Lowery, age 90, of Ocean Springs, MS, died Sunday, March 16, 2014. Mrs. Lowery was a native and lifelong resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. She was a longtime member and volunteer with the Back Bay Mission. She was formerly employed as a housekeeping supervisor at the Broadwater Beach Hotel in Biloxi. Survivors include a daughter, Amanda (Shelton) Scarborough, three sons, Elvin Lowery, Sidney (Joanne) Lowery and Kenneth (Laree) Lowery, 27 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren and 22 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Friday, March 21, from 12 noon until 1 pm, with a 1 pm chapel service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home.
