Jack Taylor was born November 19, 1926 in Dyke, Texas and passed away March 15, 2014 in Sulphur Springs, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, BR and Millie Taylor; granddaughter, JoAnn Timmons; daughter, Jacquie Timmons; stepson, Phillip McGarity and great-grandson, Anthony Burrow. Jack is survived by Virginia Sue Taylor (wife) of Sulphur Springs,Texas; Kathy Taylor (daughter) of Dallas, TX; Mark Taylor (son) and wife, Becky Taylor of Elmo, Texas; David McDonald and wife, Marisa McDonald of Royce City, Texas; Kathleen Bandy (sister) of Sulphur Springs, Texas; step-children, Theresa Melton and husband, Randy Melton of Dyke, Texas; JoAnn Sheaffer and husband, Bill Sheaffer of Round Rock, Texas; Susan Burns of Sulphur Springs and Jeffery McGarity of Cumby, Texas; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews and he adored each and everyone of them. Jack served in the U.S. Army in Korea in 1945. He worked 37 years at Rockwell International in Richardson, Texas. Visitation will be at Sparkman Funeral Home, 1029 S. Greenville Ave. Richardson, Texas on Monday, March 17, 2014 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be at Sparkman Funeral Home, 1029 S. Greenville Ave., Richardson, Texas on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Restland Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Michael Burrows, Jim Parrish, Dustin McGarity, John Parrish, Collin Taylor and Robert Blackburn. Honorary pallbearers will be Anson Taylor, David McDonald, and Jeret Blackburn.
