Bio
Thelma L. Bailey, 96, of Lincoln, widow of Walter A., died March 14, 2014. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 19, at Rosemont Alliance Church in Lincoln with Pastors Tim Majorins and Tom Rempel officiating. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at Roper and Sons, 4300 O St. in Lincoln, with the family greeting guests from 5-7 p.m. and 9 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Thelma was born April 15, 1917, in Leigh to Fred H. and Grace M. (Sumtion) Kroeger. She was a homemaker/bookkeeper and worked for Bailey Construction. Thelma was a member of Rosemont Alliance Church. She is survived by her sons, Roger (Donita) Bailey of Lincoln and Douglas A. Bailey of Show Low, Ariz.; daughter, Connie S. (Delyn) Caspers of Phoenix, Ariz.; 11 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walter; daughter-in-law, Diane K. Bailey; great-grandson, "A.J." Bailey; and five sisters.
