Kerrville Daily Times (TX) - Friday, July 20, 2012 KERRVILLE — Catherine Colleen "Katy" Painter, 86, of Kerrville, passed away Friday, July 20, 2012. She was born Sept. 26, 1925, in Shreveport, La., to Robert E. Cloud and Willie Faye Combes Cloud. On Dec. 24, 1943, she married T.A. Painter in Dallas. She and T.A. retired from their business and community involvement in Dallas and Longview to Kerrville more than 30 years ago. At that time, they became dedicated members of the 21st Century Class at First United Methodist Church. Her husband, T.A. Painter, preceded her in death five years ago, on July 20, 2007. She also was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Cloud Jr. Survivors include her daughters, Judith and Nancy and husband, Ted of Fort Worth; son, Tom and wife, Carolyn; grandchildren, Alicia, David, Adam and Matthew, Mary Catherine and Jessica Faye; great-grandchildren, Bradley , Alex, Hattie Beth and Madeleine Elizabeth. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, July 23, at First United Methodist Church, officiated by the Rev. Bob Allen, the Rev. Ray Altman and the Rev. Judi Mayne. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Grimes Funeral Chapels of Kerrville.
