Mrs. Josephine Wittmersehouse, 83, died in Lincoln Tuesday night. She had resided in Lincoln for eight years, coming from Cedar Bluffs, Neb., where she had spent the greater part of her life. While there she was active in civic organizations and a member of the Methodist church. She is survived by nine daughters, Mrs. Kate Pickett and Mrs. Jessie Opp, Lincoln; Mrs. Della Strayer and Mrs. Gertrude Gibbons, Fremont; Mrs. Minnie Johnson,Chicago; Mrs. Amelia Green, Chanute, Kas.; Mrs. Gladys McDowell of Trumbull, Neb.; Mrs. Joseph Bowersock, Baltimore, Md., and Mrs. May Clay, North Bend, Neb.; and three sisters, Mrs. Etna Gibb of Valparaiso, Neb., Mrs. Mary Wolford of Friend, Neb., and Mrs. Minnie Luhmkah of Kimball, Neb.; and 38 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
