Lowell Allen McConnell, age 76, of Bivins, Texas, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, March 6, 2014, in a Atlanta, Texas, Hospital. Lowell was born February 26, 1938, in Tarrant County, Texas, to Edgar and Letha McConnell. He was retired from Investment Properties of Dallas, attended Azle Baptist Church, and was a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Jointers of America local #2848, Fort Worth, Texas. He loved fishing and gardening. He is survived by four daughters, Laura Jean Norman of Springtown, Texas, Cheryl Garza of Azle, Texas, Tammy Meadows of Springtown, Texas, Brandy McConnell of Atlanta, Texas; three sons, Eddie McConnell of Queen City, Texas, Dean McConnell of Springtown, Texas, William McConnell of Huntsville, Texas; two sisters, Bonnie Hodges of Bridgeport, Texas, Alma Sands of Royce City, Texas; special caregiver, Joe Brandy of Bivins, Texas; and a number of grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and other relatives.
